Worksheet Studio ("we", "us", or "our") is an online tool for creating educational worksheets. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account — via email/password or Google Sign-In — we collect your email address and display name. If you use Google Sign-In, we receive only the basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture) that you authorize. We do not have access to your Google password or other Google account data.
Worksheet Content
We store the worksheets you create, including text, images you upload, and layout data. This content is private to your account by default. Shared worksheets are accessible via a link to anyone who has it.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage statistics such as how many worksheets you have created and exported. This is used to enforce plan limits and improve the service.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan or buy a shop product, payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy. We never store your card number or full payment details. We may store limited billing identifiers, such as Lemon Squeezy customer, subscription, order, or variant IDs, so we can grant access, show purchase history, support your account, and process billing-related webhooks.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Worksheet Studio service
- To authenticate your account and keep it secure
- To enforce plan limits (free tier vs. paid)
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- To respond to your support requests
- To improve and develop new features (aggregate, anonymized data only)
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your worksheet content for advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party providers to operate the service:
- Supabase — database and file storage (servers in the US)
- Google OAuth — optional social sign-in
- Lemon Squeezy — merchant-of-record checkout, subscription billing, tax handling, and digital product payments
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We choose providers that comply with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use HTTP-only session cookies to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics trackers.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and worksheet data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and worksheets are permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data (e.g., feature usage counts) may be retained indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, PDPA (Thailand), CCPA, or other applicable laws, including:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain processing activities

8. Children's Privacy
Worksheet Studio is intended for use by teachers and parents — adults who create worksheets for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), HTTP-only cookies, and Row Level Security on our database so users can only access their own data. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
