Vocabulary Clue Search

The Vocabulary Clue Search hides academic vocabulary words in a letter grid and gives students a numbered list of definitions instead of the words. Learners read each clue, recall the term, then find and circle it — pairing meaning with spelling and visual scanning. Words and definitions are drawn from a leveled academic vocabulary set (upper elementary, middle, and high school) for Grades 4–8. Answer key included.
